Higbee's Beach WMA - Sunday April 17th 2011

Sunday's walk at Higbee's Beach WMA produced singing Prairie Warblers and soaring Northern Gannets from the dune overlook, along with Surf and Black Scoters, lots of migrating Double-crested Cormorants, a brief look at Whimbrels overhead and a teasing Prothonotary Warbler back in the wetwoods, heard but never seen.
