Birding the Meadows with Pete Dunne - Monday, May 25th, 2015

The parking lot continues to offer good birding with views of Green Herons, Glossy Ibis, Mallards, and Black Ducks flying overhead along with Purple Martins, Tree Swallows, Common Grackles, Mockingbirds, and an Osprey carrying a fish. A Yellow-breasted Chat called continuously. The ponds and mudflats yielded a variety of shorebirds. The highlight of the walk was a Roseate Tern. Leaders: Chuck Slugg, Steve Weis, and Deb Payson.
