Bird Walk for All People - Cape May Point - Thursday, August 12, 2010

"Despite inclement weather, the Bird Walk for All People enjoyed good birding this morning. Bunker Pond still held its large army of egrets and herons, with a number of Glossy Ibis joining as well. A Stilt Sandpiper was a nice highlight as shorebird numbers continue to grow. A quick glance at Lighthouse Pond revealed the three Black-bellied Whistling-ducks, while a Peregrine Falcon flew by the lighthouse, giving some unsuspecting tourists at the top the view of a lifetime.
