The highlight of the trip was the stellar view of a Marbled Godwit, with some folks getting nice shots of it with their cameras. Semipalmated Plovers were everywhere and Whimbrel seemed to be piling up as well. Another unexpected treat was a Caspian Tern sitting on the marsh, for many, a first for the fall."
