The Beanery - Saturday, August 28 2010

Karl Lukens et. al. report: "CMBO Walk - Fall Migrants at the Rea Farm - The Beanery. A few migrants and some breeders. Blue Grosbeak and Indigo Bunting are breeders here. Migrant warblers were Redstart, N.Parula, Black and White, N. Waterthrush, and probably Yellow Warbler which also may be a local breeder. We watched 2 juvenile Coopers Hawks dueling with a bunch ("a murder!")of mobbing American Crows. Good variety and numbers of dragonflies and butterflies. - Karl, Kathy, Roger, Warren"
