Breeding Birds At The Beanery - Saturday, June 5th 2010

CMBO's Breeding Birds at the Rea Farm Walk saw a good assortment of birds this morning. We found the "Blues Boys", Blue Grosbeak briefly and Indigo Bunting. Multiple sightings of Yellow-billed Cuckoo were enjoyed by all.

Interesting were a single, then two fly-over Cattle Egrets. Two Prothonotary Warblers were seen in the area of the Railroad Tracks in the back and the adjacent willow pond. An adult singing male Orchard Oriole was easily scoped and near by a 1st-year male and a female were also seen.
