Back Bay Birding by Boat on the Osprey - Monday, June 21 2010

Dave Lord reports:

"Monday's Back Bay Birding by Boat Trip did not fail to entertain participants. Many Black Skimmers were seen near the Doxsee/Snow Clam Processing plant in the harbor, and others were out feeding at various points in the Back Bays. A beautiful adult Little Blue Heron was seen feeding, giving great photo oppurtunities, and our American Oystercatchers worked their magic yet again. The highlight of the trip would have to be the Clapper Rail that ran out for a brief glimpse at Deep Creek."
