After ten days of rain we had some drizzle as we began and then the sun came out. Ducks are almost gone but we did have a pair of Gadwalls. Purple Martins were flying around the martin houses and we also saw Tree, Barn, and Northern Rough-winged Swallows. Least Terns are back along with a lot of Forster's Terns. We had good looks at Yellow Warblers and heard Common Yellow-throats and Prairie Warblers. We had an elusive Carolina Wren that was seen by several walkers as well as several Gray Catbirds. Leaders: Chuck Slugg & Deb Payson.
