Birding Cape May Point - Wednesday, July 4th, 2012

A sunny bunch enjoyed a sunny 4th of July stroll at Cape May Point State Park. A passing Brown Pelican offshore kicked off our walk, and Bunker Pond hosted a nice array of returning shorebirds--a sure sign that fall really has begun!  A singing male Blue Grosbeak posed nicely, though a male Indigo Bunting was more flighty.  Leaders: Mike Crewe, Karl Lukens, Steve Weis, Chris Marks, and Catherine Busch.
