Winter Evenings at the Meadows - Friday, March 16th, 2012

Good variety of ducks although the total numbers were down. Adult Bald Eagle flying and then perched, and a perched Northern Harrier were nice scope birds. The beach had 2 pairs of American Oystercatcher maybe going to nest, and a pair of Piping Plover doing a display - somewhat early for both. Two Wilson's Snipe were seen but no displaying Woodcock. Leaders: Karl Lukens, Chuck & Mary Jane Slugg, Roger & Kathy Horn, Catherine Busch, Warren Cairo, and Shaun & Cindy Bamford.
