Photo Walk - Saturday, March 10th 2012

What! Sun? and it's Saturday? Well, we just had to grin and bear it (and the birds weren't bad either). Bunker Pond had it usual winter flock of American Coots, and Canada Geese and Mute Swans were on just about every pond. Adding extra spice to this week's walk were 4 Killdeer and a Pied-billed Grebe on Lighthouse Pond East. But the highlight was the Glossy Ibis that has been around for while as it flew in not far from where we were standing. After a careful approach, we were able to get some decent shots. Leaders: Mike Hannisian and Nancy Watson.
