Winter Evenings at the Meadows - Friday March 9th, 2012

Nice variety of ducks. A perched Cooper's Hawk and a fly-by Sharp-shinned Hawk were also seen. The beach was rather quiet, but there were a number of Sanderlings and 3 American Oystercatchers, 2 of which looked like a "pair" looking for a territory! One Wilson's Snipe but no Woodcocks displaying. Leaders: Karl Lukens, Chuck & Mary Jane Slugg, Roger Horn, and Warren Cairo.
