Birding the Meadows - Monday, September 4th, 2017

Waterfowl consisted of Canada Geese, Mallards, and Mute Swans. Overhead, we had numerous Tree and Barn Swallows, several Chimney Swifts, and two lingering Purple Martins. Off shore we found five Brown Pelicans among the many Laughing Gulls and terns feeding in the rips. A Black Tern came in over the fresh water ponds for a short time. Leaders: Pete Dunne, Bill Boyle, Karen Thompson, Karl Lukens, Pat Perkins, Mary Watkins, Marc & Lynne Breslow.
