Above Par Birding at Cox Hall Creek WMA - Sunday, September 3rd, 2017

Birds seemed to be moving in a frenzy of feeding after yesterday's rains. American Redstarts are still coming through in good numbers, along with a smattering of other warblers, and some of the breeders, such as Blue Grosbeak, Indigo Bunting and Great Crested Flycatcher are still around. Flocks of Cedar Waxwings and Bobolinks seemed to be taking turns alerting us to their presence by calling overhead. Leaders: Kathy Horn, Roger Horn, Shaun Bamford, Cindy Bamford, Joe Demko, Lynn Pollard & Dave Pollard.
