Humid, foggy morning, very little bird activity. Several Green Herons, three Black-crowned Night-Herons, first juvenile Chipping Sparrow, two Mississippi Kites just after group dispersed. Bill Boyle, Karen Thompson, Cindy Bamford, Kyle Chelius, and Mike McCabe.

Mississippi Kite  2     Flying and perched in trees across Bayshore from the parking lot. About 5 minutes after walk ended. Medium-sized raptor with long, pointed wings, pale gray head, dark gray back. Couldn't see much detail due to fog. Regular at this site in late spring - early summer.
