Birding the Meadows with Pete Dunne - Monday, May 22nd, 2017

A rather birding slow day, the only ducks seen were Mallard and Gadwall. On the beach we had the usual American Oystercatchers, two sitting Common Terns, and numerous Least Terns perched and flying. Shorebirds included Willet, Short-billed Dowitcher, Least and Semipalmated Sandpipers, a couple Dunlin, and Greater Yellowlegs. Swallows and Chimmey Swifts overhead. Leaders: Pete Dunne, Warren Cairo, Karl Lukens, Pat Perkins, and Janet Crawford.
