Sunset Birding at Stone Harbor Point - Tuesday, October 4th, 2016

Tonight's Stone Harbor Point walk was quite an experience! High winds blowing south was making looking north very difficult so we went south along the beach finding shelter behind the dune where we had some great birds. We had good looks at Caspian and Royal terns, a very close Piping Plover and nice comparisons of Lesser Black-backed and Great Black-backed Gulls. Leaders: Warren Cairo, Gail Dwyer, Shaun Bamford, Karen Thompson and Bill Boyle.
