A few days after the last big migratory flight of birds, we had many Yellow-rumped Warblers and a scattering of other migrants including Red-breasted Nuthatch, Brown Creeper, Northern Flicker, and Blue Jays. Highlights included an Eurasian Wigeon on Bunker Pond, close views of preening Green-winged Teal, and three flyover Eastern Meadowlarks. Throughout the walk, we enjoyed good views of hunting Sharp-shinned Hawk and perched Osprey. Leaders: Catherine Busch, Chris Marks, Sam Wilson, Marc and Lynne Breslow.
