Birding Cape May Point - Saturday, July 16th, 2016

A hot and humid day with some good birds. A few fly-over shorebirds were seen such as several small flocks of Least Sandpipers, a flock of Lesser Yellowlegs, and one Greater Yellowlegs. On the beach were a pair of American Oystercatchers with at least one chick. We also had a couple Indigo Buntings and perched and singing Field and Song Sparrows. Leaders: Karl Lukens and Kyle Chelius.
