CMBO’s Stone Harbor Point walk provided a pleasant surprise when Gail spotted five Brown Pelicans well off-shore as they made their way over to us giving everyone great views. We had a good mix of shorebirds on the jetty and along the beach directly in front of us. Having seen most everything at Stone Harbor, we headed over to Nummy Island where we were treated to better looks at American Oystercatchers, a couple of Little Blue Herons and a fly-by Peregrine Falcon. Leaders: Warren Cairo, Gail Dwyer, Shaun Bamford, and Nancy Watson.
