Bird Walk For All People - Thursday, July 31st, 2014

It was a warm, sunny, beautiful day for a walk in the park! Highlights include: good mix of terns including Forster's, Common, Least, and Royal; Common and Forster's Terns were sitting side by side for a good lesson in comparing features; Great Blue Heron; a few Least Sandpipers; Tree Swallows have started to gather; Purple Martins seem to be leaving; and most walkers were excited by a good look at an Indigo Bunting. Leaders: Chuck Slugg and Warren Cairo.
