Finally a day with sun, and the birds did not disapoint. Whether it was hunting Great Blue Herons, Great Egrets, or Osprey; or whether it was a well fed Sharp-shinned Hawk overhead, it was a good day to be afield with a camera. Not surprisingly, we had our largest group by far and, much to my delight, they came with lots of questions. In fact, we probably missed some shots because of the very active question/answer process that we all became involved with. There will be no walk this coming Saturday (Oct 8) as Nancy and I will be out of state. However, they will resume the following Saturday.
