Fall Birds at The Rea Farm Group 1 - Saturday, October 8th 2011

Recent arrivals at the Beanery this cool, clear morning included White-throated and Swamp Sparrow, Golden-crowned Kinglet, and many Yellow-rumped Warblers. A close fly-over Eastern Meadowlark gave a good view of its white outer tailfeathers and an adult Black-crowned Night Heron perched at water's edge for scope views.
