The Bird Walk for All People enjoyed a variety of raptors overhead to celebrate the first day of the Hawkwatch including Osprey, Cooper's Hawk, American Kestrel, Peregrine Falcon and Broad-winged Hawk. Water in the ponds was still too high for shorebirds but we sorted through gulls and terns on the beach and assorted flocks of passerines in the woods.
