Poor Man's Pelagic Cruise - Saturday, March 26, 2011

Location:     Cape May Lewes Ferry
Observation date:     3/26/11
Notes:     CMBO Poor Man's Pelagic on the ferry with Karen and Brian Johnson, Janet Crawford. It was a beautiful, if chilly day. We had over one hundred Northern Gannets, some following the boat and plunge diving for fish. Surf Scoters and Red-throated Loons were found all across the bay and we saw three Horned Grebes (one in breeding plumage), four Common Loons and three Great Cormorants.
