Mike Hannisian reports:

Despite a weather report of showers, the morning was partly cloudy which, courtesy of the increase in bird numbers and activity, made for a good morning of shooting. Along with the old faithful Mute Swans and Turkey Vultures, a number of species were noteworthy for their territoriality. These included Red-winged Blackbirds, American Robin, Northern Mockingbird, and American Oystercatcher. Also posing nicely were a number of Canada Geese.

The variety gave us a good opportunity to explore shooting shaded birds against a cloudy sky, dark birds against a pale blue sky, new beach arrivals and the always photogenic Mute Swan.

Northern Mockingbird and Turkey Vulture offered great photographic opportunities to CMBO's weekly photo walk.
