Birding the Meadows with Pete Dunne - Monday, June 30th, 2014

Again good birding from the parking lot, with nice scope views of Indigo Bunting, Blue Grosbeak, and Cedar Waxwing. American Oystercatchers with two fledged youngsters, and Eastern Willets with four chicks were also of note. Eight far-off Brown Pelicans were seen and then one Brown Pelican flew almost overhead. Leaders: Pete Dunne, Karl Lukens, Chuck Slugg, Steve Weis, Janet Crawford, Catherine Busch, Carrie Bell, Mary Watkins, and Mike Hannisian.
