"spit", today was your day at Higbee; we saw both brilliant blue
males and the plain brown females. Orchard Oriole, Blue Grosbeak and Prairie
Warbler were other birds both seen and heard, while the calling Yellow-billed
Cuckoo was a bit more secretive.
