Birding Cape May Point - Saturday, April 13, 2019

Purple Martins are back from their long migration to South America and are now setting up their breeding colonies in the martin boxes off the parking lot. Northern Gannets are still putting on a show along the beach and many were close, perhaps driven in by the mist and fog. Common Yellowthroats are back also; we had two singing this morning, first-of-season birds for all of us.
