Above Par Birding At Cox Hall Creek WMA - Sunday, April 14, 2019

Migrants were back for today's first-of-season walk at CHC WMA, with one first-of-season White-eyed Vireo. Pine Warblers, which breed here, were singing throughout the property and we also saw and heard a couple of Blue-gray Gnatcatchers. A Hermit Thrush, which of course has a typically beautiful thrush song, was testing out it's voice, sounding quite out of practice at first but finally gave a couple of its full, beautiful songs while we listened.
