Fall Migrants at The Rea Farm - Saturday, September 15, 2018

This morning we watched five Osprey circling high overhead, trying to imagine what they were "thinking". Maybe something like this?
"It's getting to be about time to go."
"I don't know, I'd like to stay at least another day. It's nice here, good fishing."
"It's been awhile since I saw mom & dad, I'd like to get started."
"We're on our own now."
"See that stretch of water over there? We'll have more fish than we can eat!"
"The winds aren't very good."
"Who cares? We can do this."
"It's going to be a long flight."
"No matter - we'll get to see a bit of the world, try other fish and be back here next year."
