Fall Migrants at the Rea Farm - Saturday, November 11th, 2017

Though the male Wood Ducks in the pond were stunning and the Savannah Sparrows along the back hedgerow were quite handsome, they couldn't compete with the young Golden Eagle that came soaring overhead. It really was a day for large high-flying birds as there were kettles of Black and Turkey Vultures, Red-tailed and Red-shouldered Hawks and two Bald Eagles. Leaders: Kathy Horn, Roger Horn, Kyle Chelius, Karl Lukens, and Michael McCabe.
