Above Par Birding at Cox Hall Creek WMA - Sunday, November 12th, 2017

The WMA was alive with berry-feasting birds this morning. Especially vibrant among the cedars and rose hips were Cedar Waxwings, a flock of Eastern Bluebirds and a male Purple Finch. A mixed blackbird flock included three Rusty Blackbirds, always good to see, and document in eBird, because of their drastic population decline over the last 15 years. Leaders: Kathy Horn, Roger Horn, Janet Crawford, Joe Demko, Karen Thompson, and Bill Boyle.
