Birding the Meadows with Pete Dunne - Monday, April 10th, 2017

A few lingering ducks besides the usual Mallards, Black Ducks, and Gadwall. Those included Green- and Blue-winged Teal, and a Ruddy Duck. American Oystercatchers and three Sanderling were on the beach as well as two Lesser Black-backed Gulls. Of interest were the two Osprey on the platform where they raised two young last year. The male brought a fish in to the female and she was eating it on the nest. Leaders: Pete Dunne, Chuck Slugg, Karl Lukens, Steve Weis, Pat Perkins, and Barb Bassett.
