Sundays at Northwood - Sunday, January 29th, 2017

A bright, sunny morning brought out the birds behind Northwood, and participants enjoyed feeding White-thoated and Fox Sparrows (the latter a lifer for one participant!), White-breasted Nuthatches, and Downy Woodpeckers. An adult Bald Eagle flew over at close range. After enjoying waterfowl on Lake Lily, we did some seawatching at St. Peter's beach where we say loons, scoters, gannets, and gulls.
