Despite the foul weather, we had a great day. We enjoyed the haunting calls of hundreds of Black Scoter, and saw Longtail Ducks in several locations. Other highlights include Harlequin Duck, Snowy Owl (distant), Common Murre, Red-necked Grebes, Common Goldeneyes, Purple Sandpipers, and White-winged Scoters. We had 44 total species, with 18 species of ducks. Leaders: Shaun Bamford, Cindy Bamford, and Janet Crawford.
