A clear and chilly evening with a diminishing number of ducks, including Northern Shovelers, Green-winged Teal, Lesser Scaup, and Buffleheads. A couple of Pied-billed Grebes were also in the mix. Overhead we had 2 adult Bald Eagles and a Belted Kingfisher, and to close the evening at the parking lot we had at least 3 "peenting" American Woodcock.
