Birding the Meadows with Pete Dunne - Monday, March 18th, 2013

Cloudy, cold,  and chilly, and threatening snow. Mostly Mallard and Gadwall, but still a few other waterfowl such as Lesser Scaup, Hooded Merganser, Buffleheads, and Pied-billed Grebe. Some movement of Scoters far off shore with a number of Red-throated Loons. We managed to spook up at least 10 Wilson's Snipe, and had a Red-tailed Hawk and a Peregrine Falcon fly over. Leaders: Karl Lukens, Chuck & MJ Slugg, Catherine Busch, and Janet Crawford.
