The President's Day Walk for Beginners enjoyed a variety of birds and nice, but chilly, weather. Highlights of the walk include a Nashville Warbler, ducks such as Gadwall, American Wigeon, Hooded Mergansers, and Ring-necks, Coot, Red-tailed and Red-shouldered Hawks, Killdeer, and Eurasian Collared Doves. Leaders were Chuck & Mary Jane Slugg, Karl Lukens, Catherine Busch, and Warren Cairo. 44 species (+1 other taxa)
