Birding Cumberland - Sunday, November 14 2010

"With calm winds, mild weather and great birds, Birding Cumberland was a success. We tallied 19 Bald Eagles, and interestingly enough, 100% of them were Adults, with no sub-adults being spotted the whole day. We had quite a variety of waterfowl from female Black Scoters at Seabreeze, to Buffleheads galore at Heislerville, and a vast amount of Green-winged Teal scattered throughout the marshes of the Delaware Bayshore. We finished this splendid walk with 9 Sandhill Cranes bugling in the marshes of Husted Landing."
