Wintering Hawks, Eagles and Owls Workshop Day 1 - Saturday, February 13 2010

Conditions are challenging on the Delaware Bayshore for both birds and birders, with cold, something like 18" of snow still on the ground and marsh, and high winds. We gave it the "old college try" after dark for Eastern Screech-owl at a known locality, and came up empty - either too cold and windy or the birds simply are not longer there, perhaps victims of the storms?
