Sunset Birding at The Meadows - Friday, August 8th, 2014

It was a beautiful evening in The Meadows with Black Skimmers skimming everywhere and a Great Horned Owl sitting in its usual perch. We started with a great look at an Indigo Bunting in the parking lot; had good looks at a cooperative Green Heron; and ended with two Merlins flying over us. Leaders: Chuck Slugg, Kathy Horn, Michael McCabe, and Beth & Don Freiday.
