Winter Evenings at the Meadows - Friday, February 22nd, 2013

Dull, cloudy evening threatening rain. A good variety of ducks, and a Tundra Swan with the Mute Swans on the Plover Pond. Nice looks at an adult Red-shouldered Hawk fly-by that landed on the viewing platform, while 2 Red-tails were perched in a cedar. Also a little flurry of Field Sparrows on the dune cross-over. Leaders: Karl Lukens, Chuck & MJ Slugg, and Warren Cairo.
