Birding the Meadows with Pete Dunne - Monday, June 13th, 2016

Cool and breezy with some interesting birds. Along with the usual Mallards and a couple Gadwall we had a fly-over Wood Duck. No unusual Terns with the Forster's, Common, Least, and Royals. A Virginia Rail gave us a fairly good look. Really unusual was a small, black and white bird with a long flowing tail. Pete noted it looked like an African exotic called a Whydah!!?? Leaders: Pete Dunne, Chuck Slugg, Karl Lukens, Steve Weis, Mary Watkins, Barb Bassett, and Pat Perkins.
