Midweek at The Meadows - Wednesday, May 25th, 2016

A flurry of songbird activity on a bright, sunny day (unusual of late). Good looks at singing Orchard Orioles, Yellow Warblers, and Common Yellowthroats. The American Oystercatchers has settled into pairs on the beach, and Willets continue to display in the marsh. A White-rumped Sandpiper was a nice find along with a surprise flyover Red-headed Woodpecker seen by a few! Leaders: Catherine Busch, Steve Weis, Karl Lukens, Mary Watkins.
