Birding the Meadows with Pete Dunne - Monday, May 16th, 2016

A chilly and windy morning with some good birds. Good views of three male and one female Orchard Orioles, as well as several Eastern Kingbirds. Numerous swallows flying about, mostly Tree and Barn, but at least one Bank and one Cliff Swallow. Many shorebirds on the mud flats including Semipalmated Sandpiper and Plover. Also Least Sandpiper, both Yellowlegs, several Stilt Sandpipers, Willets, and American Oystercatchers. Leaders: Pete Dunne, Chuck Slugg, Karl Lukens, and Pat Perkins.
