Midweek at the Meadows - Wednesday, March 30th, 2016

Although the number and variety of ducks is dwindling, we did manage to see Mallard, Gadwall, Ring-necked Ducks, Bufflehead, and both teal. Black and Surf Scoters were seen off shore as well as numerous Northern Gannets, and a couple of Red-throated Loons. Also of interest were two Wilson's Snipe trying to hide in the marsh, and a very cooperative Field Sparrow sitting in a bush singing. Leaders: Karl Lukens, Chris Marks, Mary Watkins, and Catherine Busch.
