Midweek at the Meadows - Wednesday, April 6th, 2016

Ducks are thinning out with mostly Mallards, Gadwall, and Northern Shovelers, and a few Green-winged Teal. We also had five Glossy Ibis and a fly-over of 13 Snowy Egrets. Off shore, we had a nice show of Northern Gannets, some Black Scoters a couple of Forster's Terns, and a fly-by Iceland Gull. Overhead we had 6-7 Ospreys and two immature Bald Eagles. The Osprey were building the nest on the platform east of the East Trail. Leaders: Karl Lukens, Chris Marks, Mary Watkins, and Catherine Busch.
