Birding the Meadows with Pete Dunne - Monday, April 4th, 2016

A cold and windy day! Not many ducks, but we did find Mallard, Gadwall, Buffleheads, and a couple of Blue-winged and Green-winged Teal. In spite of the wind, we did have a good Northern Gannet show. Overhead we had several Osprey with one on the nest platform, a Sharp-shinned Hawk, as well as both Black and Turkey Vultures. Leaders: Pete Dunne, Chuck Slugg, Karl Lukens, Steve Weis, Janet Crawford, and Pat Perkins.
