Birds of Belleplain - Thursday, May 7th, 2015

As usual, we heard a lot of birds and saw some. We had good looks at Eastern Meadowlark, Bobolink, White-eyed Vireo, Indigo Bunting, Blue Grosbeak, and Hooded, Worm-eating, Pine, and Prairie Warblers. A high-perched and singing Ovenbird was a treat.  Other birds seen included Wild Turkeys, several Ruby-throated Hummingbirds, and an Acadian Flycatcher. Leaders: Shaun Bamford, Bert Hixon, Karl Lukens, and Carrie Bell.
